Jody holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Art Education and in Drawing and Painting from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. In 1996, she relocated to Denver, where she began her career teaching elementary school art (grades K–5) in the Aurora Public Schools district. Drawn to the world of design, she later returned to school to study Interior Design at The Art Institute. With 18 years of experience in retail management, Jody has also worked with a range of commercial and residential design firms before finding her professional home at Columbine. She brings to her work a deep passion for color theory and space planning, blending her background in fine arts and education with a refined eye for functional, creative and thoughtful design. Outside of work, Jody enjoys creating her own artwork and camping with her husband, Larry, and their dog, Cisco.
